Badger and Daisy

Hello everyone

I hope you are all well.
It's been a quiet week for me this week.
Yesterday I helped dad out at a model railway show. He's back there today with pops so I'm just hanging out at home with my friends.

I thought this could be a good opportunity to introduce you to some more of my friends.

Badger and Daisy are best friends and have lived with mum for over 20 years.
Badger came from the New Forest about 23 years ago and Daisy came from Royal Cornwall show when mum was younger.
Daisy's full name is very long, she is called Daisy Williow Violet Bluebell Foxglove. Badger only has one middle name which is Rose which is much easier for me to remember.

I love hanging out with these two and they look after me really well. Today we have watched some TV and then made some cheese scones and a sausage casserole for later.

Next weekend we are going to a fireworks party at a 7 and a quarter inch railway. I'm really looking forward to that.

Speak to you soon

Brooklands museum

Hello everyone

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

I've had a pretty busy weekend again.

Mummy, daddy and I went to Brooklands Museum to 'Transportfest' today. There were lots of buses there as well as stalls and all the planes that live there too.
There was a vintage bus there that had been repainted in its World War One colours, so it's looks like it did 100 years ago, the bus was even at the Somme during the war. It's incredible to think something that old and with that much  history is still working today.

We walked around all the stalls and bought some books and bits and bobs for Christmas presents. It feels like far too early to mention Christmas, but I am starting to get a bit excited about it now.
Then we had a look inside some of the planes and mummy and I watched a video inside one of the old buses.

Later we went to Harvester for some lunch. I'm very full now.
I'm just waiting for the Strictly Come Dancing results show to be on then off for an early night.

Night everyone

Rail Motor number 93 and Lego

Hello everyone

How are you all?

Today mummy, daddy, pops and I went to Southall and went on a steam rail motor ride. We had to wait a little while but it was worth it.

We went from Southall to Brentford and back. I had a super time but there were a lot of people around so I was a little shy to have my photo taken.

This rail motor is number 93 which was originally built in 1908 at the Swindon railway works (some of the works is now a shopping centre that we've been to before).

It is really pretty inside and everyone who has worked on it to restore it have done a brilliant job.

We then did a bit of shopping and then back home where I played with my lego until tea time (we had fish and chips, yummy).

Now mum and I have settled in for a night of strictly come dancing.

Night night everyone.

Ryan

Hello everyone

I hope you have all been well since I posted last.

Apologies for the delay but I haven't been up to much lately. Seeing as I did so much on holiday Im actually a little glad.

On Saturday mum was also studying for a college course she's doing so she was a bit too busy to take us all out. I was happy in the garden running around with all my friends so I didn't mind.

So anyway in the absence of descriptions of my days out I thought I would introduce you to another one of my friends.

This is Ryan and he's a rhino.
He came to live with us a couple of months ago after dad saved him from a charity shop. Ryan doesn't remember much of where he used to live but says it was a happy place, he prefers being here though.

He likes the garden and playing hide and seek, though we always find him (sometimes because he forgets to hide himself enough so we can't see his horns!).

Until next time
Love

The Bluebell Railway and Brighton

Hello everyone

I hope you are all ok and have had a lovely week and weekend.

My week has been pretty quiet after my holiday last week. It was nice to catch up on a few things but a bit of a shock to go back to the normal routine after a week of lay ins!!

Yesterday was one of my cousins' 5th birthday party. He had it at a 7 and a quarter inch model engineering club in Leatherhead. It was a bit wet but we all really enjoyed ourselves and had lots of rides on the two miniture steam trains that were running for us. I think I might have eaten too much pizza and birthday cake though, Oops.

Today we all went to the Bluebell Railway. It was nice to see all of the little engines running around. We even saw one called Bluebell, it was even blue.

We had a wander around the beautiful stations and engine shed at Sheffield Park. I even managed to have a little rest and sit on one of the engines in the shed.

After that we went on a vintage bus which went from Sheffield Park all the way to Brighton. I sat at the front of the bus so I could see all the scenery. I really enjoyed myself, hopefully you can see me in the photos below, though the camera didn't like the pictures of me inside the bus too much as it was so bright outside, it was totally different weather to yesterday.

Tomorrow is Dad's birthday so me and mum are currently blowing up some baloons, I hope he likes them.

Hope you all have a lovely week planned ahead.
