Alexandra Palace Model Engineering Exhibition

Hello everyone

Happy new year.

Sorry I've been a little quiet but we were all a little unwell after New Years with this bug that's been going around. Also we haven't been up to much, apart from a trip to Ikea which I didn't think you would all want to hear about.

So yesterday pops, mum, dad and I all went to Alexandra Palace for the London Model Engineering Exhibition.
I've never been before so I was just as excited about seeing Alexandra Palace.

It is a really impressive looking building. It was rather cold and icey around there so I didn't get the chance to explore it much  though.

We had a lovely day there looking at all the bits and pieces for model engineering (pops says he wants a new drill- we don't think he does).

There were also lots of models to look at and displays of working model trucks, model planes flying around and some of the robots from Robot Wars. It was brilliant.

There was also the Masters Snooker taking place in one of the other areas. We watched it on a tv in the lobby for a bit, it was really odd as you could hear the applause coming through the walls too!

All in all it was a very good day and I was very tired afterwards.

Hope you all have a lovely week

Lots of love
