South East Bus Festival

Hello everyone

I hope you are all well.

Today mummy, daddy, Pops and I all went to the South East Bus Festival which is held at the Kent show ground near Maidstone.

I had a lovely day, even though the weather was a bit grey and overcast. Thankfully the rain held off while we were there.

We looked around all of the stalls and exhibits while we were there. I'm positively worn out!

There were all sorts of vehicles there, not just buses.
There were traction engines, fire engines, cars, motorbikes, commercial vehicles, railway models and of course the buses.

I had two trips around the show site on old route master buses and really loved  looking out of the windows at all the exhibits.

I've had a wonderful day. The show was only on for one day or I would have gone back tomorrow. Instead I'm going to do some gardening tomorrow, as long as it doesn't rain.

I bought my friends a book to read while I was there and they seem to really be enjoying it.

I'm off to bed now.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, whatever the weather may bring.

Lots of love

World Down Syndrome Day 21 March 2015

Hello everyone

I hope you are all well.

Did you know that today is World Down Syndrome Day?

I'm showing my support by wearing mismatched socks and extra socks, mostly on my head a s I only have little feet.
Mismatched and extra are just as the good as any other socks.
People with Downs Syndrome just happen to have an extra copy of chromosome 21, they are no different than anyone else.

Show your support by wearing mismatched or extra socks and spread the word.

Love you lots

Mid Hants Railway (Watercress Line)

Hello everyone

I hope you are all Ok.

Yesterday mummy, daddy and I all went to the Mid Hants railway.
We went behind all of the engines that were running which was great, I've never been to this railway before so I was really excited.

We looked around the engine area and carriage works viewing area then two round trips on the railway. They even have one of my favourite types of engines, an A4 living there at the moment called Bittern.

I didn't even get put off by the fact that the diesel we should have gone behind failed in Alton and had to be rescued by another diesel. Everyone on the railway was really helpful and we got sorted in no time.
All in all a lovely day.

If you want to visit too more details can be found on their website at http://www.watercressline.co.uk

Speak to you soon
Lots of love
Ben

Bluebell Railway 7th March

Hello everyone

I hope you are all well.

Yesterday mummy, daddy and I all went to the Bluebell Railway. We had a lovely ride up and down on the railway and looked in the engine sheds at Sheffield Park.
It was so lovely and sunny so it just made the day even better.

Hope you all have a lovely week.

Lots of love
Ben
