Surrey Society of Model Engineers

Hello everyone

I hope you are a well.

As a final treat for the Easter weekend today daddy took me to the Surrey Society of Model Engineers (SSME) which is in Leatherhead.
It's a club for model engineers to build/restore and make model locomotives and parts. They have a lovely grounds in Leatherhead with lots of track to go around. They only open to the public a few times a year for train rides. Today was a members day, not a public day, but because daddy knows people there we were able to have a look around.
I also got to sit in the cab of an engine and got to ride around the site behind a steam engine. I loved it.

If you fancy joining the society or want to come along to their next public open day (the next ones are the May bank holidays) then visit their website for more details; including details on ticket prices and public running dates. www.ssme.co.uk

Hope you all have a fabulous week.
Lots of love
Ben
Sitting in the cab of the engine. This engine doesn't have a name, can anyone think of a good name for it?
